Breeding Regulations
Breeding Program ~ Article 4
The breeding program comprises
all measures suitable to achieve a breeding progress in view
of the respective breeding target. This particularly includes
the evaluation of the exterior, the performance tests, the
evaluation of the breeding value as well as the selection.
New methods of biotechnology are applied.
In the evaluation or the breeding value, next to the results
of the own population, those of other breeding associations
or stations may also be taken into consideration. The respective
breeding population involved in the breeding program includes
all breeding horses, entered in the following sections of
the studbook:
- Stallion Book I
- Book of Mares - Main Section
- Book of Preliminary Entries
