Minimum Specifications in the Horse ID (Horse Passport)
Article 22

1. The Horse ID is to contain at least the following specifications:
   • Owner and authorized commissioner
   • Identification
     • Registration number
     • Name
     • Sex
     • Colour
     • Breed
     • Name of the sire
     • Names of the mother and of the sire of the mother
     • Date of birth
     • Place of birth
     • Breeder
     • Markings when accompanying the mother
     • Name and address of the issuing association
     • Date of Issuance
     • Signature of the issuing
   • Examinations of identity
   • Entry of Health controls by laboratory examination
     
2. The horse ID may further contain the following additional information:
   • Entry as FEI ID
   • Date of the last coverage of the mother
   • Active marking:
     • Brand of the breed
     • Number brand
     • Chip number /DNA data
   • Results of examinations of the descent
   • Complete pedigree including four generations
   • Studbook entries
   • Breeding information / results of performance tests
   • Competition horse entries
   • Medication controls
