Notice of Birth ~ Article 19
The notice of birth including the corresponding
data is submitted to the association by the owner of the mare
within one month after the birth.
If a mare does not give birth to a foal
or if the foal dies shortly after its birth, the notice of
birth is to be filled in as well, the reason is to be indicated,
and the document is to be handed on to the association by
the owner of the mare.
This also applies to foals born dead.
The notice of birth is to contain at least:
Name and registration number of the mother of the foal, name
and registration number of the sire of the foal as well as
name and address of the owner of the mare and the foal, date
of birth, sex, color of the foal, if necessary, indications
referring to a dead birth or the death of the foal shortly
after the birth as well as twin birth, and signature of the
owner of the mare.
