Breeding Regulations
Entry into the Studbook ~ Article 15
The entry of a breeding horse in the corresponding
section of the studbook is effected if the identity of the
horse is assured beyond doubt according to the criteria laid
down in article 16 of the SBR and all other requirements are
satisfied.
The entry of breeding animals in a section
of the studbook is registered on the account of descent (pedigree).
The entry in the studbook is to be withdrawn
by the breeding association if one of the prerequisites for
it has not been fulfilled. The entry is to be revoked by the
breeding association if one of the prerequisites has subsequently
been rendered invalid. It can be revoked by the breeding association
if it is conditional and the benefactor has not satisfied
the conditions in due time.
The owner of a horse can protest against an entry.
The responsible commission of the association decides on the
acceptation of the protest and the further actions.
