Breeding Regulations
Subdivision of the Studbooks ~ Article 11
The studbooks are separately kept for
stallions and mares and are subdivided into different sections.
For the Oberlander Horse the following sections are established
in the studbook:
Oberlander Horse (Exclusive
Studbook)
- Stallion Book I
- Stallion Book II
- Main Book of Mares
- Performance Book of Mares
- Award Book of Mares
Only horses satisfying the respective
requirements are entered into the different sections of the
studbook. These requirements are laid down in the SBR. The
requirements may, however, be completed or specified by individual
resolutions. The entry into a section of the studbook is registered
on the account of descent. The breeding committee of the association
can establish further sections of the studbooks for the breeds
attended to and determine the corresponding requirements.
The elected bodies of the association under participation
of the stock supervisor and his or her commissioner are responsible
for the entries.
The entry is effected on application of the owner of the horse
at the responsible association.
