Performance of the descendants
The descendants of breeding animals, particularly stallions, may be evaluated at public events.

  1. A first evaluation of the descent is carried out at the foal show respectively organized by the Canadian Oberlander Horse Association
  2. The evaluation of the older descendants is effected at the descent show respectively organized by the Canadian Oberlander Horse Association when the oldest descendants are at least three years old
An evaluation in a team may be required.
  3. The further evaluation of the breeding animal is effected under consideration of the performance of all of its descendants.
  4. The foal show and the descent show are respectively carried out at public events at which the complete living descent is to be presented and evaluated, as far as it is to be found within the breeding area (Canada and USA) of the Canadian Oberlander Horse Association.

The participation is mandatory for each breeder subject to the statutes of the Canadian Oberlander Horse Association.
  5. The descent shows serve to determine the breeding value of a sire.
